The rectangular grey-veined white marble top, with softly rounded corners, is set above a substantial moulded frieze veneered in richly figured mahogany. The table is raised on a rectangular pedestal similarly faced in figured mahogany, terminating in a stepped collar and shaped quadripartite platform base.
Four scrolling feet retain their small brass castors. The marble top lifts away from the base for transport.
The mahogany has been waxed and polished and retains a warm established surface. Minor historic repairs and age-related marks are present, while the original marble has developed the surface variation expected through use.
