A fine set of four elm wood Biedermeier side chairs. Heavy, and solid elm wood frame raised on sabre legs are in fine condition and are suitable for everyday use.
The Chair backs are decorated with a Neogothic trellis design associated with the late Biedermeier period. There is a charming variation in patina between each chair. Original upholstery with traditional horsehair stuffing in varying conditions.
